20th and 21st December, 7:30 pm, Rebecca Cohn Auditorium –
Handel’s transcendent Messiah, with Symphony Nova Scotia and the Symphony Nova Scotia Chorus under the direction of guest conductor Vicki St. Pierre. Sololsts are Miriam Khalil, soprano; Christianne Rushton, mezzo-soprano; Asitha Tennekoon, tenor; Jesse Blumberg, baritone. Chorusmaster for the SNS Chorus is Dr. Joel Tranquilla, artistic director of the Halifax Camerata Singers.
