Dalhousie Health Professions Chorale – 2016 Portia White Gala Concert

Join us for the 2016 Portia White Gala concert, featuring the Dalhousie Health Professions Chorale and the Sackville Concert Band + a program that ranges from classical to contemporary. Soprano Allison Angelo, a two time Portia White Award winner, will be our featured guest artist this year. Proceeds from this concert will help support a young Nova Scotian musician through the Nova Scotia Talent Trust. Now in its 72nd year, the NSTT was started in 1944 to assist the career of Portia White and has continued in its support of talented young Nova Scotian musicians. The Dalhousie University Humanities-HEALS Program is pleased to be able to make a yearly contribution to this worthy cause.

Printed tickets can be obtained from chorale and band members, or reserved through the Medical Humanities office (902-494-1533 or medhuman@dal.ca). Un-sold tickets will be made available at the door on the night of the event.
