Come see for yourself what all the buzz is about! Resonance Youth Choir’s second project, “Mental Health Matters” concludes with a performance at First United Church in Truro this Sunday afternoon, June 16 at 3pm.
Resonance Youth Choir seeks to make waves and create vibrations that have an impact on each other, our community, and the wider world. With each project, singers choose, prepare, and choreograph the music, with the support of their leadership team (Sappho Thompson, Mason Eisner, Holden Hoover, Olivia Gouthro, and Chris Bowman). They also choose a recipient for donations at the door of each concert – this Sunday, your contributions will go to the local branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association.
All are invited to experience the authenticity, musicality, and emotional connection that these talented choristers share so genuinely. We hope to see you at our concert, where we will feature pieces from favourites musicals (including Rent, Into the Woods, and Dear Evan Hansen) music by Sara Bareilles, Queen, and Stevie Wonder, and many others. The singers will also share some of their own perspectives on the importance of normalizing mental health matters.
Resonance runs two projects a year out of First United Church in Truro, and is seeking new singers for the fall of 2024! For more information, please contact
