Capella Regalis Spring Concert

Capella Regalis Choirs – Spring Concert – May 31 – LunenburgFREE CONCERT. Come hear the debut concert of the Capella Regalis South Shore Program choristers! Joining them on stage will be members of the Halifax Men, Boys, and Girls Choirs, to perform an uplifting afternoon concert. The program will feature Parry’s jubilant coronation anthem “I Was Glad,” a new arrangement of the beloved folk song “Down By the Sally Gardens” by Nick Halley, and highlights of Capella Regalis’s new Songs of the Sea CD, including of course Paul Halley’s hit arrangement of “Farewell to Nova Scotia.” In November 2024, Capella Regalis launched its South Shore Program, which provides weekly singing rehearsals in Lunenburg for children from Nova Scotia’s South Shore communities.
