The Bay Chorale presents Generations of Song on Saturday, April 22, 7:30 PM, St. Luke’s United Church, 5374 St. Margaret’s Bay Road, Upper Tantallon. Join the Bay Chorale as we celebrate our tenth anniversary of music-making in St. Margaret’s Bay!
Through musical storytelling, our concert will meditate on the way that women share wisdom and support across the generations. With music that ranges from lively and uplifting to reflective and pensive, we will revisit some repertoire from our ten years of song, and also present some new selections. We are especially excited to present the world premiere of an original work of music composed for the Bay Chorale by renowned Canadian choral composer Jeff Enns, with lyrics drawn from the work of Pulitzer Prize-winning poet with Nova Scotia roots, Elizabeth Bishop.
Reception to follow with birthday cake and other goodies. Tickets $15 adult, $5 children under 12, babes in arms free. For ticket reservations, please visit www.baychorale.org or call Shauna at 902-717-5857.
