CALL FOR APPLICANTS to lead MUSICIANSHIP at YOUTH CHOIR CAMP
We are in search of an individual to lead our musicianship classes at Youth Choir Camp.
This includes leading two 45 minute sessions daily Monday to Friday excluding Wednesday (1 class on Wed.) during the week, in which groups of singers will be lead through musical skill development.
The instructor will plan three 45 minute lecture sessions, which will be presented a total of 3 times each, that will focus on but are not limited to the following topics:
Ear Training
Sight reading
Music History
Conducting
Vocal improvisation
Audition preparation
Jazz Techniques
or other special topics
Applicants should have experience in leading large group instruction and have musical training relating to voice, theory, conducting, choral pedagogy or instruction.
Remuneration includes room and board if applicable and a payable fee.
