Chebucto Community Singers seek new members!

The Chebucto Community Singers are looking for new choir members. This is a mixed choir of 65 members and has enjoyed 44 years of making music together. They sing a broad range of repertoire from classical to Broadway.  The choir rehearses from 7-9 on Tuesdays at Oxford School, 6364 North Street, Halifax. The Choir Director, Louise Grinstead, would like anyone who may be interested in being a member of this choir to come to our first rehearsal of the year on September 25, between 6:15 and 6:45 for an audition. She is mostly looking for basses and tenors but will accept sopranos and altos who have choral experience. Those auditioning should have some experience in choral singing and be fluent sight readers or have a strong ear for music.
