2023 Bridge Walk – ScotianAires

The ScotianAires Barbershop Chorus, under the direction of Sue Kember, is an award-winning ensemble of vibrant and talented singers, specializing in four-part a capella harmony in the barbershop style. The chorus includes a diverse group of 60 dedicated women, and those identifying as women, from areas across the Halifax Regional Municipality, and spanning a wide range of ages, from 22 to 94 years old.
We are proudly celebrating our 40th Anniversary since being chartered in 1983 with Harmony, Incorporated. Our ensemble is built upon a foundation of friendship, education, harmony, and the shared love for the art of barbershop singing. We believe that music has the power to unite communities, uplift spirits, and inspire positive change.
Join us at the 2023 Bridge Walk for an unforgettable afternoon of music, laughter, and community spirit. No tickets required! Just bring your friends and family to enjoy the stunning performances on the Dartmouth stage of the MacDonald Bridge on August 6th. Opening ceremonies start at 2:00 pm and the ScotianAires perform at 3:00 pm. Don’t miss this chance to be swept away by our amazing harmonies and toe-tapping melodies.
