The Cantabile Society will celebrate Canada’s sesquicentennial in song with a concert of all-Canadian music to be held on Saturday, April 1st, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at First United Church (711 Prince Street, Truro). Tickets are only $17 (with a $5 student rate), and ages 12 and under are free of charge. This concert will feature the Cantabile Singers and the Cantabile Boys’ Choir singing a variety of pieces both familiar and new, with everything from Maritime hits to lovely arrangements of folk tunes, pieces by established icons of Canadian choral composition and brand new pieces including two written specifically for Cantabile. There will be something for everyone to enjoy!
Tickets for this April 1st concert are available at the First United Church office, at MacQuarries (Esplanade), from choir members, and at the door.
