Charpentier’s Messe de minuit de Noel

The annual reading of Charpentier’s Messe de Minuit (1690) for vocalists and instrumentalists, an EMSNS holiday tradition, returns this year on Thursday, December 28. Andrew Pickett, countertenor, Early Music expert, and former president of the Early Music Society of Nova Scotia, will conduct.
All singers and instrumentalists are welcome (Pitch 440). While an rsvp is not necessary to attend, interested persons are asked to indicate their intention to participate by e-mailing earlymusicns@gmail.com by Saturday, December 23.
