Choirs for Change is excited to announce Polaris’ end-of-season event, “The Healing Power of Music”!
This event will explore the healing effects of music through three different lenses: music that was written through healing, music that speaks of healing, and music that is healing when created. Chosen by choristers and with elements shaped by their collective efforts, Polaris has been exploring the theme of this event for several months as we prepare music and ideas to share with you in May. “The Healing Power of Music” will feature special guest musical collaborations, and work from Composer in Residence Ryan Henwood. Polaris is conducted by Jack Bennet, Fran Farrell, and Bryan Crocker, and lead in its social dialogue by Deborah Castrilli and Sanford Hare.
We look forward to seeing you at this event!
