Canta Mara Youth Choirs of the Annapolis Valley will tell tall musical tales in their upcoming spring concert “Enchanted: Myth, Legend, Fairytale, and Folklore”
Get ready to be spellbound! The Canta Mara Youth Choirs of the Annapolis Valley are thrilled to announce their upcoming concert, “Enchanted: Myth, Legend, Fairytale, and Folklore”. Saturday, May 24, 2025, 2pm & 7pm, at Horton High School. Join the choirs for magical performances that weave together storytelling and song.
Formerly known as the Annapolis Valley Honour Choirs, this concert is particularly special as it marks the first official performance for the choir under their new name, Canta Mara Youth Choirs.
“Enchanted” will lead audiences on a fantastical journey through beloved myths, legendary tales, whimsical fairy tales, and cherished folklore. Greek Gods, trolls, dragons, and music from beloved classics, including Alice in Wonderland, The Lord of the Rings, plus a sprinkling of magic from the world of Wicked. Talented young performers of all four choirs will share songs that evoke wonder and inspire imagination, drawing from diverse cultures and traditions. This concert will not only showcase the incredible voices but celebrate a rich tapestry of stories that unite us all.
