The Aeolian Singers present Endless Spaces: reaching for light, love and spirit, November 19 at 7:30 pm at Woodlawn United Church.
Like sharing time with a close friend, “Endless Spaces: reaching for light, love, and spirit” is your heart’s conversation given where we’ve all been for the past two years. These magnificent voices share your highs and lows, anguish of loss, confusion in searching, and ecstatic joys of breaking free and dancing in the light. As a focal point, three stunning settings of poems by Sara Teasdale, known as Reflections on Humanity, will feature oboist Suzanne Lemieux. We also welcome percussionist and drummer, Mark Morton, who will send the groove over the top in Rosephanye Powell’s setting of words by Maya Angelou… Still I Rise! We look forward to sharing this time with you – it will be good for all of us.
