Lay Your Heart Down

Wed. May 31, 7:30 pm   Lay Your Heart Down is a spring concert of uplifting music at this joyous time of the year, presented by Middleton Choral Society in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Main Street, Middleton. This community choir, directed by Andrew Cranston and accompanied by Beth Cranston, will sing a program of choral music including works by Allister MacGillivray, Stan Rogers and John Rutter. Guest instrumentalists will be Cindy Sherman (flute) and Neil Hunter (cello). The choir has just returned from singing in a massed choir at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Halifax, celebrating the music of the late Robbie Smith, whose work will be featured in this concert.

Tickets, priced at $15.00, are available from choir members or at the door. During the concert a door prize will be awarded. Following the concert, an open reception will be held in the church hall.
