Organ Scholarship Fund
The Annapolis Valley Centre RCCO (Royal Canadian College of Organists) presents its annual
concert by local instrumentalists and vocalists in support of its organ scholarship program, which
invites talented pianists of any age in the community to acquire pipe organ skills. Each scholarship
provides a set of organ lessons in June and July from a qualified local organist. These lessons are
considered a Summer Pipe Organ Exploratory. The deadline for applications is May 31, 2025:

The Sacred, Secular and Silly XVII concert will be held in the Dawn Oman Art Gallery, 298 Granville
Street, Bridgetown on Friday, April 25 at 7:30 pm. Admission will be by a free-will offering, meant to
subsidize the Centre’s organ scholarship program. A special invitation to perform has been sent
to last year’s scholarship winners. In the midst of our perilous times, come to listen to the comforting
sounds of live music being played. Someone once said, “Without music, life would be a mistake.”
