Audition Preparation Day, Mt. Allison University

Dear Music Teachers,

We are excited to share information regarding our upcoming Audition Preparation Day, taking place in-person at Mount Allison University,Saturday, January 27, 2024.  The Audition Preparation Day is designed for any high school student who is interested in making music a part of their university studies, and will be of particular interest for Grade 11 and 12 students who are considering auditioning for a Bachelor of Music degree.

Students will learn about Mount Allison’s Music program, receive a private lesson, and participate in sessions about the audition process, career opportunities, and music theory.    

The fee for this event is $45 (no HST applied) and includes lunch on campus and access to all instructional opportunities. Participants and their families are also welcome to arrive on campus on Friday, January 26, to attend the Faculty Recital that evening – “Short Ride in a Fast Machine” with pianists David Rogosin and Stephen Runge – at no additional cost.
