Children’s Chorus of Nova Scotia Concert Coming Up!

Kellie Walsh to conduct Provincial Children’s Chorus in Concert!

Truro – Internationally renowned Newfoundland conductor Kellie Walsh will be leading our provincial children’s choir for the final concert of the Children’s Chorus of Nova Scotia on April 7 at 3:00pm, at First United Church in Truro.
Singers in grades 5-9 from all over the province have been selected by their choir conductors and school music teachers to take part. An initiative run by the Nova Scotia Choral Federation, this choir was developed to give singers of this age group an opportunity to achieve choral excellence.

The music covers many languages and styles, from a song of the Torres Straight Islands to a beautiful setting of the “Ave Maria”. This is a program that you do not want to miss!

The final concert will take place April 7 at 3:00pm, at First United Church (Prince St.) in Truro. Other guest choirs featured on the program include the Cantabile Boys’ Choir and the Cantabile Truro Youth Singers. Tickets are $15 adults, $10 for students and can be purchased at the door.
