Halifax The Musical : Choral Workshop

January 14, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Announcing a Halifax, the Musical Choral Workshop
What: An invitation to a “from scratch” choral workshop for Halifax, the Musical (the first 200 years), music and lyrics by T. E. Smith-Lamothe.
When: Tuesday, January 14, 2020, 7PM
Where: BMO Community Room, 2nd Floor, Halifax Central Library
Who: anyone interested in singing-along through Halifax history, just for fun!
Why: the songs to be work-shopped are the ones in the musical which call for a “chorus of Haligonians”.  The songs need to be “tested” by a chorus for sing-ability (both music and lyrics).  The recordings made will only be used for promotional purposes, not commercial sale in order to show potential producers how the musical might sound on stage.
HOW: Please RSVP to HalifaxMusical@gmail.com and include your vocal range (alto, soprano, tenor, bass, etc.) and a reply will be sent reserving your space and to send you links to the songs so you can familiarize yourself with the music and lyrics before the workshop.
